TECHNICAL - HIWG flat file specifications (BASED ON THE HIWG EDI MIGS)Maximize

Please Note:

The Excel templates provided above should not be used without reference to the matching HIWG Flat File Format Specification.

TECHNICAL - HIWG flat file XML specifications (equivalent to THE HIWG flat files)Maximize

Please Note:

These HIWG Flat File XML (FFXML) specifications have been created from the HIWG Flat File specifications (see above). All definitions and rules are as per the matching HIWG Flat File specification.

The HIWG have developed these FFXML specifications so they are available (for those in the industry wishing to implement HIWG documents in XML) as an interim step until a clear global standard format for XML has been established - as currently there are many "flavours" of XML.

Note that the XML schemas available to view/download from here have had their .xsd extension changed to an .xml extension to enable download - but should be converted back to the original .xsd extension if wanting to implement them.

If you are interested in XML documents for Statements please contact the HIWG Facilitator.
