TRAINING COURSE 1
GS1 Numbering & Bar Coding and the HIWG Flat File Pricat v3.0

This course focuses on numbering, bar coding and master data (product/price) alignment using the HIWG Flat File Price Catalogue specification (v3.0).

This is course is a general course and is aimed for any staff across an organisation interested in understanding how to identify products in an electronic environment and use the HIWG Price Catalogue spreadsheet to synchronise product/price information with their trading partners.

Basic EDI - UN/EDIFACT, EANCOM and the HIWG EDI Purchase Order

This course focuses on UN/EDIFACT and EANCOM standards and the HIWG EDI Purchase Order Message Implementation Guideline (HIWG EDI ORDERS MIG, Implementation v1.0).

This is a technical course primarily for IT staff and developers interested in learning how to read and create UN/EDIFACT EDI messages as well as identify errors in messages.

B2B E-Trading Basics (New for 2007)

This general course aims to provide attendees with a high level overview of B2B e-trading. This course is an excellent precursor to either Training Course 1 or Training Course 2.

Topics covered include: HIWG e-messaging flows and key data elements, critical B2B requirements, an example of an HIWG e-trading scenario and the benefits of B2B e-trading.
