Building Industry E-Commerce Group (BIEG)Minimize

The Building Industry E-Commerce Group (BIEG) began in 2006. The group is made up of residential builders and their key suppliers.

The overall aim is to drive the building industry forward with B2B e-commerce using a standardised and industry-agreed approach, thereby cutting costs out of the overall supply chain.

The BIEG mission is to:

(1) Make industry-agreed recommendations that address e-trading impediments in the Building Industry; and
(2) Ensure that all HIWG guidelines and recommendations meet building industry requirements.

There are currently 11 members of the BIEG.

  • The current Chair of the BIEG is Mark White (Bowens).
  • The current Deputy Chair of the BIEG is Leighton Wade (Dennis Family Corporation).
  • The current HIWG TDG representatives of the BIEG are Stephen Kulic (ABN Group) and Mark White (Bowens).
